Return program for packaging
In addition to the production of plastic packaging, we offer our customers a take-back, recycling and reconditioning system for used containers. With CIPACKS, we want to make our contribution to a sustainable circular economy for plastics. On the one hand, we can clean used containers with our cleaning processes so that they can be reused. If cleaning is not possible, we recycle and reprocess them in such a way that they become a new raw material for our production.
Canister cleaning
The smallest plastic packaging we clean is canisters. In our fully automatic cleaning system, canisters from 5 to 60 litres are cleaned inside and out with high pressure, hot water and cleaning agents added as needed.
The following steps are carried out:
– Residue-free label removal
– Pre-rinsing in the machine
– Interior and exterior cleaning with high pressure
– Drying
– Testing/inspection
Drum cleaning
Furthermore, we clean plastic barrels from a lidded barrel to a bung barrel. In a state-of-the-art machine, the barrels are cleaned several times with high pressure from the inside and outside and then dried.
The following steps are carried out:
– Residual label removal
– Exterior cleaning
– Cleaning of the lids
– Interior cleaning
– Drying
– Testing/inspection
IBC cleaning
In addition to canisters and drums, we also clean IBCs (Intermediair Bulk Carriers) and special containers. These are also cleaned from the inside as well as the outside.
– Exterior cleaning with high pressure (removal of dirt and labels).
– Cleaning of the lids
– Cleaning of the tap
– Internal cleaning with high pressure and possible cleaning agents
– Leak test (including inspection of the tap)
– Drying
– Sealing
– Final visual inspection
Tank cleaning
Tank cleaning is also part of our cleaning processes and the intelligent washing programme ensures fast and professional cleaning.
The regular internal cleaning of tanks is a requirement to guarantee product quality and hygiene. The use of the best equipment is therefore very important. Our state-of-the-art biological wastewater treatment makes it possible to clean many different products.
Tank cleaning - chemistry
We are your expert for interior tank cleaning. On our chemical lanes it is possible to clean tankers with products from the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. Our modern cleaning system and the intelligent washing programme ensure fast and professional cleaning. The price-performance ratio plays an important role.
Each cleaning is carried out with drinking water (F01) and only with cleaning agents that are suitable for foodstuffs. Of course, the ECD certificate is issued to them after cleaning.
Tank cleaning - food
We have a cleaning lane that is used exclusively for food tanks. On this cleaning lane, approved by EFTCO Food, we work in compliance with the HACCP standard.
Every cleaning is carried out with drinking water (F01) and only with cleaning agents that are suitable for food. Of course, the EFTCO Food-ECD certificate is issued to them after cleaning.
Rebottling
If the bladder of the IBC cannot be cleaned due to a defect or discolouration, it is necessary to replace the inner container. Here, too, we are the right contact for you.

Recycling
If cleaning is not possible, we are able to shred these materials with our plant technology and process them to such an extent that they become our “own” PCR/PIR.
Through our reprocessing process, the material quality reaches such a high standard that we can produce new packaging from it.
Test and repair
UN-approved containers are used worldwide. By law, these containers must be tested every 2.5 years for type conformity and leak tightness. These tests may only be carried out by companies that have been recognised as certified by the state. We have this certification at our locations and are allowed to test every container. If the test is positive, the container receives our test mark including the test date. If your containers are inspected during transport, the authorities can see from these test marks that your containers meet the legal requirements. After each test, a certificate is issued to you to confirm that the test was carried out in accordance with the law.
The inner container of certain containers should/must be renewed after 5 years. We are also certified for this. Our team will quickly and expertly install a new inner container so that your container can be used for another 5 years.
If your containers are damaged or have leaks, we can repair them directly. Both plastic and stainless steel containers. Our excellent contacts with suppliers enable us to deliver quickly, furthermore we have a large stock. Both plastic welding and the repair of damaged stainless steel containers are part of our services.
