  • Recyclable – the packaging must be in a condition in which it can be reprocessed and therefore reused, i.e. plastic inner containers, mesh cages, pallets and other functional parts must not be damaged or appear with rust or residue on the outside that has not been cleaned (e.g. polyester, paint/varnish and glue)
  • Last filled product must be clearly identifiable – all labels with product contents, instructions on dangerous goods, must be legible. Packaging that has contained toxic products (Class 6.1) must be neutralized and/or rinsed before collection and labeled accordingly as “neutralized”. Additional costs may arise from toxic products and are accepted
  • The safety data sheet of the last filled product must be available at all times
  • All taps, lids and caps must be closed and tight; no product leackage
  • All packaging must be stacked neatly (Please also note the guideline in the appendix)
  • By placing an order, the collection conditions are accepted. If the packaging does not comply with the above conditions, the AST Group has the right to invoice the sender for costs incurred in connection with any deviation.
  • During transport, each empty IBC, drum and jerry can must be closed as if it were a filled package. The transport document must comply with all applicable regulations (ADR/RID)

If you need lids or something similar to close the packaging in advance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

6. Pick-up Preparations

The customer must complete the following steps for collection:

  • Complete the current valid transport document. (Current version of the document can be found at https://cipacks.com)

If a declared pickup is not ready for pickup, the registrant will be charged with the transportation costs for unsuccessful trips.

7. Packaging not meeting Acceptance Criteria

The sender will be charged with the following costs (unless otherwise agreed) that incurred in connection with proper, environmentally friendly treatment and disposal by one of the AST Group-certified disposal companies. All packaging collected will be assessed upon delivery by one of our locations. The assessment made at the time the packaging arrives at one of the AST-Group locations is binding. Currently the costs are billed as follows:

  • Residues, solid, sludge and liquid waste € 1.50 per kg, excluding VAT
  • Reprocessing or recycling / dismantling of damaged, rusted and deformed IBC containers € 15.00 per piece, excluding VAT.
